The most common thing to be associated with Hong Kong Cafe / bistro is that there are lots of items in the menu. Baked rice, baked pasta, thick French Toast, black pepper chicken chop, sandwiches, burger, different type of drinks are just to name a few items on the menu.
We noticed this place opened a while
back, and this time around we decided to give it a try during one
late afternoon. I ordered the Wing Chun Chicken Chop which come with
HK Style Chicken and Cajun Chicken ($13.80), while the Little Devil
('LD')ordered her usual Instant Noodle with Chicken Chop ($6.80). My
barometer for good HK Cafe has always been their hot HK Milk Tea
($2.30), so order one up and Little Devil have Iced Lemon Ribena
($3).

The drinks came quite fast, just a couple of minutes after we place our order. For me the HK Milk Tea passed the test. It is fragrant, thick and smooth, quite close to HK stocking tea. While the Iced Lemon Ribena is a little sweet, so it is does not satisfy LD's thirst quench.

The food took a bit longer to come, roughly more than 10 mins after the drinks came. So how is the food? Both of my chicken are nicely grilled, it tender and juicy. The fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, while the coleslaw has a nice fresh texture to it. The same can be said to LD's food. Nicely done on the chicken and the instant noodle cooked to al Dante, topped with perfectly cooked sunny side up egg. Really worth the wait, Yummmyyy!!

Service is quite attentive and
efficient. Overall, this HK Cafe served quite a good food,
considering they open until late, really a good place to catch up
with friends and gossip!!!. Cheers!!
