The recently launched Champagne Brunch at Seasonal Taste combines and elevate the gastronomic experience from the regular buffet line up at Seasonal Taste with the popular offerings at Cook and Brew.

Our personal picks are:
The Grilled Aussie Tomahawk. One of our favourite steak cuts. It is meaty, tender and succulent topped with a nice charred aroma in the steak.

The Grilled Aussie Tomahawk

Grilled to order Lamb Chop and T-Bone Steak. The lamb is an absolute beauty. You can say it almost melts in your mouth. While the T-Bone, although it is good, it can do with less time on the grill.

The Stir Fry. Yup, the ala minute stir fried dish is a must try. Executive Sous Chef Yeo Eng Woon stir fried each of the order personally and in front of the customers. Our stir fried beef is tasty and succulent, while the vegetables are crunchy and sweet. As it was stir fried in high heat, there is good amount of Wok Hei ('Breath of The Wok') to wake up our palate. A must try dish here and you can check out the clip here. https://youtu.be/rAZOR9mCkTg

Poached Spinach and Herbal Chicken Soup. These dishes might not be something that is outstanding in the buffet line up. I personally like the clean taste of the spinach that soaks up the solid robust broth. Meanwhile, the clear chicken broth should be something that you can look forward to warm up your palate and stomach in the beginning of your meal.

Cold Seafood Dish. The lobsters, oysters, prawns, crayfishes, Alaskan king crab legs and other shellfish are part of the brunch line-up. All of them are fresh, so you can take your time and enjoy the brunch.

Desserts. All the desserts are made in-house, including the gelato. Their pastry chef seems to amaze me with her creative creations. This time the Strawberry Rhubarb Pie and Bee Sting Brioche got my pick. I like the tanginess in the pie to help me overcome the “jelakness” from the too much meats. While the bee sting brioche was light and airy, it just fits in nicely. A nice ending to the brunch.

It was indeed a very good Sunday Brunch. With a great company, time just fly and you have spent three hours to savour the gastronomic offerings. It is definitely a place to consider for your Sunday Brunch outings.
