Our Christmas Feast begins with Pumpkin Soup with Crabmeat. It is smooth, creamy with a very solid pumpkin flavour. The fresh twist comes from the crab meat with the spring onion, the fresh crab meat give the soup a unique taste, and surprising it goes well together. But I don't think you can find spring onion with pumpkin soup in Europe.

Oxtail stew. One of those comforting dish that is perfect for winter Christmas. The oxtail is definitely cooked over a long period, as the meat falls off the bones. It is well braised and the meat absorbs the spices and red wine nicely. Perfect to go with some rice, bread or potatoes.

Yup, there are two type of turkeys and both of the meat are moist. The roast turkey breast with cranberry sauce is more of the traditional version, while the szechuan flavoured bird surprisingly has a similar taste like chicken rice chilli, but at a lower level of spiciness. The meat dish that LD and I really like is the boned in honey baked ham. It is succulent with a touch of saltiness. It seems that the boned added a unique touch of sweetness to the ham. #Porkgasm.
The Christmas dessert offered Christmas Stolen and Strawberry Yoghurt Yule Log. Christmas stolen is a traditional sweet bread that is served during Christmas in Europe. The Strawberry Yoghurt Yule Log is a combination of sweet and savoury delights. It is so delicious that you will not stop at one slice.

While the above are the highlights during Christmas, the Peranakan / International Buffet buffet dishes remain available during this Christmas Feasting. I had delicious butter crab, herbal prawn, crayfish cooked with black bean sauce and the famous Durian Pengat.
