The Night View from our room |
What we saw from our room during NDP Preview 1 |
Location: (10/10)
Conrad Centennial Singapore is located in Marina Bay next to Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre, one of the main exhibitions centre in Singapore. Central Business District and Marina Bay Sands is just five minutes taxi ride away.

The hotel is surrounded by three shopping centres: Suntec City, Millenia Walk and Marina Square which boast extensive shops and dining selections. Promenade MRT station is just 3 minutes’ walk from the hotel.
Room: Overall (10/10)
Cleanliness (10/10). Space (10/10). Room Amenities (10/10)
Our Executive King Room is located on the 29th Floor, with the view of the bay. When we first enter the room, we just went WOW. The room is elegant, spacious and bright with the beautiful scenery of the bay. In the evening, we manage to catch some of the fireworks from NDP Preview 1 session.
Super King Size Bed |
The Super King size bed was decorated with batik Conrad Bear on it, along with the long sofa by the window to laze around. There are also Welcome snacks (Macarons, Chocolate Pralines, mini chocolates) and fruits. To receive a hand-written welcome note by one Conrad’s staff is just a priceless.

The bed is firm with a touch of soft padding on the top. (Bed firmness rating 8/10) The pillows on the bed are huge and good for hugging and when you lay on it, it just cuddles your head nicely.
Bathroom |
The Shower |
Bathtub |
Bathroom amenities are just fantastic. There are three type of toiletries range to choose from Temple Spa, Refinery and Mandarin Tea. You have a pair of bathroom sink if you and your partner need to use it simultaneously. The bathtub is definitely a plus point for hotels in Singapore and the shower cubicle is just classy with rainfall showerhead and normal wall head.

The range of drinks and snacks offerings in the room is extensive. There are free Nespresso Coffee, free Rottenfield tea bags, followed by vast selections of alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks.

Snacks, Coffee & Tea |
In the Fridge |
In the evening, there is also a turndown service. We did not take up the offer because we don’t want to miss out on the NDP fireworks.
Room Entertainment & WiFi (9/10)
The flat screen TV in the room is huge, about 50 inches, placed in a strategic position in the room. The WiFi connectivity is seamless, but the strength of the WiFi is only half in the room, instead of full bar. So streaming tv series or movie might be a challenge.
Executive Floor Privilege (8.5/10)
One of the privileges of Executive Floor is the access to Executive Lounge. It opens from 6.30am to 11pm. Since we had our afternoon tea at Lobby Lounge, which you can find the full review here; we had our evening drinks here (available from 5.30pm to 8pm, with hors-d’oeuvres).

The Executive Lounge is located on the 31st floor, however, due to the high usage during the weekend, they extend the lounge on the 30th floor. We proceed to the 30th floor for our drinks and snacks as it was full on the 31st floor. The selections of hot food, cold food, alcohols and beverages are quite widespread. Best of all we can get the window seat and enjoy the view from the 30th floor is pretty significant.

Breakfast at Oscar’s (9/10)
We decided on breakfast at Oscar’s as it is more spacious. The extensive spread includes egg station, healthy station (salad and homemade muesli), cereals station, bread station, noodle station, cheese and cold cuts station, juice bar, waffle and pancake station, and ice cream station (Yes, Ice Cream for Breakfast).

At the egg station, I ordered poached egg that is not on the menu and they served me the full version of egg benedict. The egg is soft, wobbly topped with a rich and creamy hollandaise sauce. Yum Yum. The bacon, sausage and waffle with raspberry ice-cream leave a positive impression for the breakfast.

Service: (8.5/10)
Overall, the service staff are very friendly and accommodating. If you check-in on the weekend, be prepared to wait. I waited about 1 hour before I got my room. I don’t mind waiting, however, it will be better to inform the guest/s on the estimated waiting time instead of just letting wonder without any confirmation.

Overall: Highly Recommend
Conrad Centennial Singapore definitely comes highly recommended for a luxurious stay or staycation in Singapore. Their Executive room is spacious and the view is amazing plus it is just across Suntec City Exhibition Centre and accessible everywhere. For 5* accommodation in Singapore, Conrad Centennial Singapore is highly recommended.
Thank you very much to Conrad Centennial Singapore for the Staycation Invite.
